Biography

Coach White is in his 13th year at ThunderRidge. He started the program in 1997 and was the co-head coach with Dave Mumper for the next 7 years.

After Coach Mumper retired from coaching in 2004 Coach White continued as the head coach. Coach White has coached at Highlands Ranch High School, Standley Lake High School, Overland High School, Arapahoe High School, and Mesa State College where he was the pitching coach.

Coach White played for Mesa State College as pitcher for 4 years, finishing second in career wins for the Mavericks. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds after his junior year and the Seattle Mariners after his senior year. After being with the Mariners for two years and having shoulder surgery he retired from playing and started coaching. White, along with Coach Mumper, was named the Colorado High School Coaches Association coach of the year in 2004 after the Grizzlies won the state Championship.

Coach White is also the Defensive Coordinator for the Grizzlies football team, which won the state championship in 2001,2004, and 2005.

Coach White is married to Catherine and they have Taylor, Maddison, Elijah, and an angel in heaven, Virginia Grace.
